This (and Weekender I) are the classic of classic events [as voted by cosmopolitan] 
This was when the event was starting to take shape but was still very much underground.  It was when I was asking about who else could play and we were joined by Xcopy, Hoffman & Akira. 
This event contains some classic mixing - while not having the huge vibe of the event that followed, weekender II still has a special place in my heart. I love the whole cowboy DIY edgieness of the whole thing!
